Shaw's classic play (the inspiration for "My Fair Lady") tells the story of Professor Higgins' attempt to turn Eliza Doolittle, a Cockney flowergirl, into a lady. It highlights the class divisions of the 1890s with wit and humour. Will Eliza fool London society? Superb costumes and a first-rate cast make this a must-see. Performed at the Pound Arts Centre, Corsham from 3-10 March 2010.
