AdHoc Theatre: Twelfth Night and Taming of the Shrew
The Taming of the Shrew was performed on 16, 18, 20 March 2009, 7.30pm and Twelfth Night on 17, 19, 21 March 2009, 7.30pm at the Pound Theatre in Corsham, Bath.
Adhoc brings a new and striking perspective to bear on Shakespeare's two classic comedies of love and confusion.
On alternate nights through the week you can see either all male actors, as in Shakespeare's day, playing out the robust characters and comic deceptions of Twelfth Night, or an all female cast giving a novel and ironic twist to the male chauvinism of The Taming of the Shrew.
